October 3rd- Recovery from a Slaughter

October 3rd - Recovery from a Slaughter

The outpour from those supporting the aftermath of #prayforvegas is staggering. People from all walks of life have come together to help, support, and pray for the suffering.

It's not uncommon for Americans to unite after a tragic event, it's wonderful to see. Though, it's almost bitter in a way.

The attention after mass shootings and tragic events are often short. Weeks go by and life is back to normal for most, those who are not directly affected. The FBI reports that every two weeks these massacres take place. A mass shooting has a victim count of 4 or more people. None of these shootings were as horrific in body count as the deadliest single shooter attack in modern history, Las Vegas.

Can you recall the Orlando, Florida slaughter that ended life for 49 people on June 12, 2016, inside the Pulse nightclub? Just over a year ago and with 32 mass shootings later, America is no closer to solving the issue.

Just last month a family of 9 were murdered in Plano Texas, the copycat generation seems preoccupied on killing. It's up to us to remember these dates and not allow them to continue. We must personally become vigilant, scope our surroundings and stop being so damn polite not to ask a stranger about his or her day. Communication with strangers can lead to call signs that may save hundreds of lives.

Stronger restrictions on gun control are not the answer, nor does it work. If the government banned guns, no one would have them to kill. "Really? Meth and cocaine are illegal and drug addicts buy this every day on the street."

Just wanted to let you know that (name withheld's) son in law, Censored is doing good, he's back here in Riverside. Las Vegas hospital sent him back to Riverside, non-life-threatening issue.

Censored came home, went to Riverside Kaiser and they decided to not remove the bullet from his back that penetrated him during the shooting. Cleaned his wound, stitched him up and sent him home with antibiotic medication. He now has a memorable souvenir from their 3 Day vacation. He jokingly said that it takes more than a Crazy man's bullet to take him down. Dylan has a very good attitude towards this terrible and tragic ordeal that he and a lot of others experienced this last weekend.

Censored climbed on and covered his wife Mindy when they realized they were being shot at. So it appears he took one for the little lady. They're both very grateful that God was watching over them. They're all doing well today. Have a good week and be safe out there.

Don't be fearful, but be observant. I just turned 60 yrs young in August, I still go to concerts and I will continue to go. I don't allow crazy people and terrorists to dictate my life. Life's too short, Enjoy it.

October 2nd- Tips to Survive a Mass Shooting

My tips on Surviving a Massive Shooting

    October 2nd - Survive a Mass Shooting

Today I'll start with prayers for Las Vegas. #prayforvegas... Television NEWS is overloaded with concerns, pain, empathy, and compassion for those killed yesterday, (59 as of this writing) and injured (522 as of this writing) in the deadliest shooting in modern history.

Plan to survive a Mass shooting

    • Know your plan before the bullets fly. Assess your surroundings, your exits, the points to hide, (as the last resort) and plan what to do afterward.

    • Select a leader to follow (yourself, parents?) if shit hits the fan. It's important that your leader has a plan of action beforehand if nothing happens then great.

    • Make yourself a moving target and run far and fast... It's not likely that a mass shooter will have the special training that elite snipers have under their belt. Nervousness will hinder the shooting ability of a shooter, it's important that you make yourself as hard to hit as possible. That requires running, jumping, getting the hell out of range. Ranges for handguns are 25meters, Long rifles have a range of 500-600 meters.

    • Hide only as a last option. You want to get away from the situation as fast as possible. If you pinned down, hide only with the thought to move position with a pause in shots. Listen for gun jamming, count shots, changing of magazines, once these actions take place from the shooter, this is an opportune time to run to safety.

    • If you're forced to hide head on to fight with the shooter, conceal yourself behind brick, mortar, concrete planters. Glass, wood, windows, are not ideal for self-concealment from bullets.

    • Have a plan for everyone. Appoint who's going to call people, and where you'll go. Everyone should run to a rallying point. Rally points can be nearby buildings, a friends house close by, anything from half a mile or farther from the venue.

    Preparation Tips

    • Purchase a bulletproof insert for your personal event backpack, purse, or child's backpack. These inserts designed as soft body armor and can save your life.

    • Take a life-saving medical kit with you everywhere you go. This kit should include a tourniquet, bandages, gloves, enough to stabilize the injured until further medical help arrives.

The actions you take prior to a mass shooting are as important as those during. Don't get caught off guard. Shootings are becoming an epidemic, understand that your chances of getting caught up in a shooting are rising. When you plan ahead of time, you take steps to survive. It's my hope that you are able to use this information in an actionable way to save your life someday.

“Your fear is 100% dependent on you for it's survival.”

      Regulating Mental Toughness

      Regulating Mental Toughness

When the sun goes down my time to train begins. Having always worked the night shift, 10-12 hour nights, my body is well adjusted to the witching hour. For me, waking up before noon to train doesn't apply.

Between 18:00 to midnight my focus and determination floods my mind. This is what I've trained the internal clock to understand,"when the night hits, it's, go time."

As I laid there resting from cleaning out the garage and doing yard work. The feeling of determination to power through a run jumped in my head. Thoughts of becoming a better runner, a more disciplined, hard-bodied man, circled. Physically weak people have these thoughts sporadically, only to make excuses for not starting a workout. "To much pain, I don't have enough time, I'll do some crunches after this episode of LOST." And isn't that half the battle? The hardest part of any workout is getting started.

After saying, "I'll just do 10 minutes of cardio" that's never where I stop, I'll always push myself another hour. In most cases, I'll go 90 minutes or longer.

      Preworkout Success

Over the years I've learned to focus on the entire details of my workout long before it even begins. In order to complete an intense mission, the body and mind must understand that it can be accomplished. The technique I use is, 'visualization.' This almost invariably begins on the truck ride to my training location.

Seeing myself completing the workout entirely in my mind is such an amazing and vivid practice. Along with using the patented special ops box breathing hack, (4 breaths in and 4 breaths out) my visualization prepares me for success under the toughest conditions. Simply, because I've taught myself that I've already completed the entire session. It's best to consider all options when visualizing, that means knowing and seeing myself at the hardest part of the conditioning and pushing through the get the win because the real deal is coming soon.

      Arriving for the workout

Driving up to the park with the music set for my workout. I get out of the truck, realizing the pain is coming. This is the most critical point for us warriors, it's now or never. The headphones are attached as the walk to the starting line pumps blood and oxygen to my legs, leading to more excitement. I began with high knees and ballistic stretching to get my heart rate and breathing elevated. It's not good to start out in a full sprint, nor will your body enjoy that if you've still yet to hit the half-mile mark on my long-distance run.

      The Workout Begins

What did I get myself into? Weak thoughts and mixed excuses cause one of two actions in a person during training. The weakly minded sub-athlete allows the pain to win him over. Quitting is the only option for them. For warriors, we thrive on the pain and allow it to push us across the finish line, no matter what. It was 60 Seconds into my run, that I understood what must be done to complete the mission."Focus on ignoring the pain. Press onto the finish line, no matter the obstacles lay ahead."

During the second mile, I chose to leave the track and speed walk up the mountain close by. Since I ran long distance already, the pain of this climb pounded my thoughts. Complete focus was the only variable getting me through at this point. My muscles began to cramp, my breathing was erratic, the thought of walkers behind me pushed me to the top, I knew I had to and could beat them. I did.

“Strength doesn't come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't.”

Exposed: Anti-Anxiety Side Effects are Worse Than CBD’s

When you’ve been in an ongoing cycle of having to take anti-depressants while swapping anxiety meds to find the correct cocktail, a big price on your body is being taxed.
Turn on your television and watch a few commercials, you’ll see plenty that tricks you subliminally to go “ask your doctor.” about taking prescription mood stabilizers, chemical balancing, and anxiety subsides.

From the 20 second list of harmful side effects to the overall push and creation of these drugs, the government seeks to get you hooked and make a huge profit from it. Whether they kill you or not. Pharmaceuticals want you to get hooked, for instance. My doctor gave me a medication for depression, and she asked me for other problems, bipolar came up and she wanted me on a mood stabilizer without any testing. I said no thanks, and she kept pushing it every time I’d go get my refill.

The Purpose Driven Life and How To Find It

The Purpose Driven Life and How To Find It

The problem with people trying to find their purpose in life, is that a majority of them, lack the mental intelligence of coming to a conscious understanding of defining what that purpose is. If you have ever nonchalantly sat down and said, "Hey, I'm a shithead and I need to find better things to do with my time, think I'll sit down and find my purpose." You'd be going about it the wrong way, essentially, playing into the reason you haven't found it the previous 20 times.

In order to find your purpose, your mind must first be in a heightened state of consciousness, it's not enough to simply want to find your purpose. If you haven't opened a book in 10 years, or been attending your weekly seminars that teach you how to empower your mind in the next 21 days, how do you expect to just sit down and find your entire life's purpose in one sitting?

Your lack of intelligence on any subject will always be directly linked to the efforts that you put into learning about how to master it, on your own. Think for a moment, about your level of conscious awareness to the world around you right now. Are you at a heightened state of consciousness, do you feel as if your mind is looking at you from above, giving you all the answers at a moments thought, the answers that you seek? If so, than maybe you are ready to find purpose. Now, if you haven't been trying to intelligently raise your state of well-being, because you have been to engrossed with how emotionally depleted you feel, then you should probably not try to find purpose, today. At least until you work on heightening your self-awareness.

Before I turned 30 years old, I constantly lived in a state of lowered mindfulness, living each day as if I were in a brain fogged coma, never trying to spark my need for powerfully changing my thoughts. Growing older I began to learn that if I wanted to find purpose, I would have to change the thoughts I had about myself, which would then cause me to seek more knowledge, leading me to inch up the rungs of the mysterious conscious ladder of awareness.

The brain you are born with is unique to your body, your skills and the limitations of it's atrophy. Think of your brain as a muscle that gets stronger as you exercise it. By exercising through mind games, reading books, practicing and learning new things you can become smarter, despite what some medical experts lead you to believe. That, you are born either dumb or smart and you can not change that.

Raising your level of conscious awareness must be done in order to find a higher purpose. Start building skills that you have allowed to remain dormant inside of you.

People seeking to find their ambitions in life, while in a constant state of depression and lower leveled thinking, tread dangerous waters in their mindless search. Early, in the age of consciousness we are barraged with environmental decisions. These decisions are subconsciously pounding our minds by the people in our inner circles, constantly changing are, our views and judgments, by continuing in this low state of mind, we can not grow to find our highest self.

From the bullies who mocked you in high school, to your parents telling you how much they dislike the president in the White House, this daily stimuli has a lasting effect on the choices you make in life, forging and creating the possible outcome of your life's purpose. Finding false purpose by these negative situations, can be the result of having chose to take the easy way out by using someone else's purpose in life as your own. Beware, when you come across these people who focus on the life mantra of, anything that sounds good, goes, this shallow pool of self-realization is not healthy for you to get involved in when you sekk self-mastery.

The purpose driven life is made for individuals that stick it out in the intense adversity that life gives them. There is an exercise that is said to help you find your purpose, that may be so, if you don't give up 5 minutes before you are shown your profound revelation. When you start this exercise, don't go into it lightly, you will get the most out of it when you complete it in its entirety.  Sit down in a room by yourself, in isolation and allow your mind to reveal it's secrets. Many of you, (myself, in the past) that have gone through the steps to finally raise your level of self-awareness will fall victim to contentment, you become stagnant, failing to grow even taller.

If you are serious about finding your life's purpose and completing the exercise, you can shoot me an email or contact me, I'll be sure to send it to you.

You are taught to believe that you have a predestined life purpose, from birth and you must walk the streets of life everyday to find what it is, otherwise you will die without having led the life that you were destined to live. I have news for you, I don't believe we have a predestined purpose for our lives. This simply is not true, our environment, our work ethics, mixed with countless other life factors create our aspirations. Something else to think about, these aspirations will evolve over time, challenging you to constantly search for an even higher purpose for your life. Those who are never satisfied with where they are in life, go on to create valuable products, services, and never stop when they find the life that calls to them, they press, continuing to look upwards.

“Continue seeking a higher level of self-awareness each day, whilst, keeping a disciplined mindset to continue writing, in order to help you who seek to find purpose.”
